CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — A Clarksville woman was arrested after her 4-month-old son was found alone in her apartment, crying and covered in feces and urine, according to an arrest warrant.
Detectives estimate the infant was left unsupervised for 24-48 hours before he was found.
According to an arrest warrant, Clarksville Police went to an apartment on Cobalt Drive Monday evening. There they met a woman who said the infant’s aunt called to check on the baby.
The aunt thought the woman had been caring for the boy because that’s what his mother told her, according to a warrant.
The woman went to the apartment, and from the parking lot could hear a child crying. She knocked on the door but no one answered.
