After years of speculation, an investigation into rapper Plies’ past has finally revealed that the rapper not only exaggerated his criminal history, but that the rapper is also mentally challenged. This new information came to light after discovered his diploma from Fort Myers, Florida.

The investigation learned that the rapper held a 4.0 GPA due to having mostly remedial classes designed specifically for the school’s star athletes. Apparently, Plies real name Algernod Lanier Washington received A’s in coloring literature and Advanced Dummy Math. He was even named by his mother, who also is believed to have similar inflictions, after the rather dumb mouse Algernod (in actuality Algernon) from the story Flowers for Algernon.

This explains a lot about Plies as he originally intended for Piles to be his rapper pseudonym due to the large piles of cash he was stacking. Unfortunately, he confused the letters and decided to just go with it. As a result, the rapper now seems to be named after the bending of one’s knees. This also explains the rapper’s rather apparent inability to rap or speak well as you can see in the video below.
